Janu
A door blocks the passage between two rooms. It separates what should not belong together, but also allows you to cross the border and move forward. On the other side, will you be received as a friend or as an enemy? Virtual spaces open up in the form of projections.
«Janu» is a game installation in which the player observes a virtual parallel world through a real door in real space. The closed door keeps the unknown outside away from the familiar inside. When the door is opened, a multitude of virtual spaces in the form of projections appear on both sides of the door. These spaces are the habitat of various objects that can be discovered by the players. The structure of the installation is conceived in such a way that spectators see the performers and the door, but also the projected virtual world as a theatre stage. For the audience, the work becomes a performative installation driven by the players.
