Down the Road
«Down the Road» is a game prototype and the first episode of an interactive episodic experience that was created as part of Johannes' master thesis at the Zurich University of the Arts. This master thesis investigates the impact of subscription and streaming models on the development of story-based indie games. The main findings of the theoretical work resulted in the game prototype «Down the Road» with a focus on episodic and cinematic narrative strategies.
